Barn & Horse Farm Cleaning in Ocala, FL

Clean horse barn overhang and stall row after cleaning in Ocala, FL

Exterior Cleaning for Barns, Stables, and the Whole Farm

A horse property is a lot of different surfaces in one place: barn siding and roofs, concrete aisles, rubber aisle mats and wash racks, board and vinyl fencing, sheds, equipment pads, and the farm home. Warren’s Power Washing provides exterior cleaning for barns, stables, and farm properties in Ocala, Marion County, Citrus County, and Gainesville.

We assess each structure before choosing between low-pressure soft washing and controlled pressure washing, and we plan the work around your horses, your turnout, and your daily barn routine.

One Crew for the Barn, the Fences, and the House

Most farms need more than one thing cleaned. We can quote the barn, fencing, concrete, and farm home together and plan larger properties in sections when that’s practical. Ask about combining services or using our maintenance plan for recurring exterior care.

Clear Expectations for the Result

Cleaning removes dirt, mildew, algae, and other buildup. It does not repair rotted boards, rusted-through metal, failed paint, or structural damage. Before work begins, we confirm which structures are included and explain what cleaning can and can’t improve. Have a concern afterward? Contact us so we can address it.

What We Clean on the Farm

The method depends on the material, its finish, and its condition. We look at each surface before we recommend a treatment.

Barn and Stable Exteriors

Metal siding, painted wood, and other barn exteriors collect mildew, algae, dust, and red-clay splash, especially on shaded sides. We assess the material and finish, then choose soft washing or controlled pressure washing. Loose paint and weathered wood are pointed out before we start, because cleaning can’t restore a failing finish.

Barn, Shed, and Outbuilding Roofs

Metal roofs are assessed for their coating and condition. Cleaning products, application, and rinsing are chosen with attention to the finish and to what’s below the roof line: turnout, water troughs, and stored feed or hay. See our roof cleaning page for how we approach different roof types. If the barn has gutters, gutter cleaning can be done on the same visit.

Stable Aisles, Rubber Aisle Mats, and Concrete Wash Racks

Concrete aisles and wash racks hold dirt, shavings residue, and organic staining. We clean concrete with surface-cleaning equipment where appropriate and rinse toward the drains or runoff areas we agree on with you. We also clean rubber aisle mats, lifting out the dirt and shavings that settle into the texture, and rinse them thoroughly.

Fences, Rails, and Gates

Board fencing, vinyl fencing, and gates collect mildew, algae, and dirt, and shaded or irrigated runs often look worse than open, sunny ones. Wood needs controlled cleaning around the grain and existing finish. Vinyl is typically cleaned with a lower-pressure approach. Cleaning doesn’t repair weathered boards or permanent discoloration. If you plan to paint or stain afterward, let us know. More on our fence cleaning service.

Outbuildings and Equipment Pads

Tack rooms, sheds, equipment storage, and concrete pads around trailers and machinery can be cleaned alongside the barn. Oil and grease call for degreasers, and rust stains need specialty treatment. See rust removal and concrete and driveway cleaning.

The Farm Home

The house, roof, gutters, driveway, and pavers can be scheduled on the same visit as the barn. See house washing, roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, driveway cleaning, and paver sealing.

Arenas and Paddocks: What We Can and Can’t Clean

We don’t wash the arena ground itself (sand, dirt, or grass), or paddock turf. Pressure washing doesn’t improve them. We do clean the structures around them:

Before we start, we talk through where rinse water will go, so it isn’t directed onto the arena ground or into turnout you’re using. If you’re not sure whether a structure is a good fit for cleaning, ask during the estimate and we’ll tell you honestly.

Animal safety comes first on a farm job. Here’s how we plan around your horses:

Why Choose Warren’s Power Washing for Barn & Farm Cleaning?

A family crew and a cleaning plan built around the way your farm runs.

A Father-and-Son Crew

Jason Warren and his son Zachary, our Lead Technician, work as a two-person team. One mixes and applies, the other rinses and keeps an eye on the surrounding property.

Restaurant Roots, Serving North Central Florida Since 2008

Jason started out cleaning restaurants, where clean wasn’t optional, and he opened Warren’s Power Washing on July 1, 2008. We bring that standard to every property: clean entrances, rinsed surfaces, and a work area left the way you’d want a customer or a boarder to see it.

Our Barn & Farm Cleaning Process

Here’s what to expect, from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Initial Communication and Scheduling

Call us, text photos to (352) 895-5365, or message us by website chat or Facebook Messenger about the structures you want cleaned.

Free Estimate and Walkthrough

Many jobs can be quoted from photos. For larger farms, Jason walks the property with you to look at materials, buildup, access, drainage, and where your horses will be during the work, then gives you a personalized free estimate.

Turnout and Site Preparation

On cleaning day we confirm the order of work and the turnout plan, pre-rinse nearby plants, and go through the prep steps listed above before we start.

Cleaning and Rinsing

We match the cleaning solution to the buildup and use only as much pressure as each surface can handle. Treated surfaces and surrounding areas are rinsed thoroughly before we move on.

Final Walkthrough

We check the work with you by comparing before-and-after photos and let you know which areas are finished and rinsed.

What Our Customers Say

Warren’s Power Washing has a 4.9-star rating from 228 Google reviews. Here’s what two horse property owners had to say:

★★★★★

“We had our house & barn power washed: the place looks new! Warren did our horse trailer too.”

Robert Vanscoten, Google review

★★★★★

“…he did the Barn inside and out which was full of cobwebs since a horse hasn’t been in it in two years. Zach also did the wash rack area and fences around it. They were reasonably priced, but what impressed me the most was how professional, courteous, and diligent Zach was with the whole job.”

Know a Horse Rescue or Therapeutic Riding Program?

We started Caring Beyond Cleaning in 2022 to give back to the community that supports us. Each month, we provide a free cleaning to a local nonprofit, and we offer a free exterior cleaning to Habitat for Humanity of Ocala/Marion County families, starting one year after they get their keys and continuing every year they live in the home. If you know a horse rescue, therapeutic riding program, or other farm-based nonprofit whose barns or facilities could use a cleaning, we’d like to hear about them. We review each request individually. Nominate an organization.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the estimate free?

Yes. Text a few photos to (352) 895-5365, or send them by website chat or Facebook Messenger, and we can often quote from those. For larger farms, Jason will walk the property with you first.

Do my horses need to be moved?

Yes. No animals should be in the buildings while we work. We agree on the order of work ahead of time so you can turn horses out away from the work area and the rinse path.

What cleaning solutions do you use?

We match the product to the surface and the buildup: a chlorine-based solution for mildew and algae, degreasers for oil and grease, and specialty treatments for rust. Every treated surface is rinsed thoroughly.

Do you pressure wash arenas or paddocks?

We don’t wash the arena ground itself (sand, dirt, or grass). We do clean arena fencing and rails, kick boards, viewing stands, and covered arena roofs.

Do you disinfect stables?

No. We clean off dirt, mildew, algae, and buildup, but we’re not a veterinary disinfection service. For a disease-control routine, talk with your vet.

How much does barn cleaning cost?

It depends on the structures included, their size and height, materials, condition, access, and any specialty stain treatment. Request a free estimate and we’ll price the work for your property.
